No Pobre TV. Ten-year-old Kajetan is fascinated by the young MO lieutenant Wandalin. He would like to meet him, so he is delighted when he learns that the man will become his stepfather. A wonderful bond develops between them. Kajetan's mother dies; the boy is afraid that he will be a stranger to his stepfather. He decides to win his approval. He tries several feats, but to no avail.
